Visit VB Blog: VA MOCA Presents – Maya Lin: A Study of Water

As part of my ongoing communications work with the Virginia Beach Convention and Visitors Bureau, I have the opportunity to dive (editorially speaking) into some of the city's newest and most noteworthy experiences.

In my latest story for Visit Virginia Beach, I wrote about the Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art’s current exhibition – Maya Lin: A Study of Water – an inspiring, thought-provoking and simply beautiful exploration of water's power, significance and fluidity.

A special thanks to Alison Byrne (MOCA’s Deputy Director, Exhibitions and Education) for her time and insights during my visit, and to John Mayer (Visit Virginia Beach’s Interim Director of Marketing) for always trusting me to capture the city’s compelling stories.

Enjoy the full recap via the link below – and if you get a chance to visit the exhibition for yourself, please be share to share your thoughts. Happy reading!
